We stand behind our Premium service. If you're not completely satisfied within 30 days of purchase, we'll refund your subscription in full—no questions asked.
1. Premium Subscription Refunds
Eligible for Refund:
- Requests made within 30 days of initial purchase
- First-time Premium subscribers
- Technical issues preventing Service use (we'll try to resolve first)
Not Eligible for Refund:
- Requests made after 30 days from purchase date
- Subscription renewals (cancel before renewal to avoid charges)
- Partial refunds for unused time (except within 30-day guarantee)
- Change of mind after 30 days
- Account violations or Terms of Service breaches
2. How to Request a Refund
Step 1: Email us at refunds@petfoodoptimizer.com.au with:
- Your account email address
- Purchase date and transaction ID (if available)
- Brief reason for refund (optional, helps us improve)
Step 2: We'll process your request within 2 business days
Step 3: Refund issued to original payment method within 5-10 business days

3. Free Plan
The Free Plan has no associated costs and therefore no refunds are applicable. You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings.
4. Cancellation vs. Refund
Cancellation:
- Cancel anytime from account settings
- Access Premium features until end of billing period
- No refund for remaining time (unless within 30-day guarantee)
- No cancellation fees
Refund:
- Request within 30 days for full refund
- Account downgraded to Free immediately upon refund
- Can re-subscribe to Premium at any time
5. Refund Processing Time
- Credit Card: 5-10 business days
- Debit Card: 5-10 business days
- PayPal: 3-5 business days
Processing time depends on your payment provider. If you don't see the refund after 10 business days, please contact your bank or payment provider.
6. Subscription Renewals
Premium subscriptions auto-renew annually unless cancelled. You'll receive a renewal reminder email 7 days before your renewal date. To avoid renewal charges, cancel before your renewal date. Renewals are not eligible for refunds (only initial purchases within 30 days).
7. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks can result in account suspension and prevent future purchases. We're committed to resolving all payment issues fairly and quickly.
8. Australian Consumer Law
Our refund policy is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or other applicable consumer protection laws.
9. Changes to Refund Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
